SHINE by Hiroki Takeda
Shine is a great new song by Hiroki Takeda. Reminiscent of the early work of Jeff Beck or George Benson, this track ripples with energy. An infectious guitar rhythm sets the tone from the very beginning - the band grabs hold and never lets go. A deftly delivered 8-bar piano solo follows, and then Hiroki Takeda cuts loose with the main guitar melody of the song. Next up - the guitar solo. Economical and emotional, this is how a guitar solo should be played. The artist returns to the main melody - the song fades. This is a band that really knows how to work as an ensemble - and how to step back and let the soloists shine. A wonderful track - start to finish.

Musicians Institute Japan Sapporo GIT卒業後、同校のGIT科講師に。フォークジャンボリーでは、ビギン、南こうせつのオープニングアクトで参加。松田じゅりあとインストアライブで共演。MI JAPANセミナー等では元カシオペア桜井さん、マーティフリードマンとセッションに参加。今現在もGITインストラクター、メリフラウズサウンドでレコーディング、CD制作、CM・イベント等で活動中。
