On their new 4-song CD SNUG CHAIR from Sapporo have done an excellent job. The first song, Tunnel, starts the album on an ethereal note. The CD then features two versions of a song called White Moon. The 2008 version feels a little more laid back, while the 2009 version feels a little tighter and more stripped down. Sandwiched between these two versions of White Moon is a song called Keynote, featuring 60's-style spacey guitars and driven by a marching-drum snare drum pattern. Instrumentation is sparse, allowing the vocal to take center stage. All four songs feature excellent harmony lead vocals. SNUG CHAIR's strongest point may be that they've found a way to create and perform some great music without defaulting to the usual rock band go-to moves like heavy drums and guitars solos. While by no means a mainstream band, SNUG CHAIR has staked out their own musical territory - and have created some compelling music in the process.

・結成のきっかけは？
「SNUG CHAIR」を組む前のバン度が解散。
今野3名が残りバンド名を変更して結成。
まとめると、1人抜けて新たにバンド名を「SNUG CHAIR」
としてスタート。

・現在の活動を教えて下さい。
月に1度くらいでLIVE。
これからはもっと精力的に活動をしていきます。

・今回、販売されている曲の中で1番思い入れの強い曲はありま
すか？理由も教えて下さい。
「トンネル」SNUG CHAIRで初めてレコーディングした曲なので。

・リスナーにはどんな事を感じとってほしいですか？
誠実さ。暖かさ。風景。

・今後の目標を教えて下さい。
音楽で、自分の曲、自分のBANDで生計を立てる。
カッコイイ曲、何かを感じ取れる曲を書く。
