Introducing CHROVIO from Tokyo, Japan! The band has put out a strong 3-song CD. Stylistically CHROVIO seamlessly bridge the gap between Japanese pop and hard rock. The guitar work is reminiscent of U2 or the Police - very rhythmic and atmospheric.
Another high point here is the vocals - the vocalist knows how to get his point across without hitting you over the head with it. The drummer really adds a lot to this band. It is his ability to play outside the box while still nailing the groove that sets this band apart. Though all three songs are great BirdCage shows the band at their full potential. Great band plus great songs equals really great music.
